Welcome to AIMEG

These terms of service ("Terms") apply to you and the AI Media & Entertainment Guild ("AIMEG", "we", "us", "our") regarding your use of our services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. What these Terms mean for you

By using our services, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

You confirm that you are over the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your territory). If you are younger than 18 but older than the Minimum Age, your parent or legal guardian must review and consent to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your right to use our services

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Services for your own personal or internal business purposes.

You may not:

  1. Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services.
  2. Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
  3. Use the Services to violate any law or infringe any third-party rights.
  4. Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers.
  5. Use automated means to access or scrape the Services without authorization.

3. Content you submit

You retain ownership of content you submit through contact or join forms. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use it solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.

You represent that any content you submit does not violate any law or third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.

4. Artificial intelligence-generated content

The Services do not currently use artificial intelligence to generate content.

5. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds

The Services are currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid features in the future; if we do, the applicable terms will be presented at the time of purchase.

6. DMCA and copyright policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any user-submitted content on our Services infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to support@aimeg.net containing:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the infringing material and its location on the Services.
  4. Your contact information.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIMEG and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Services.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AIMEG from any claims arising out of your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Services.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on aimeg.net. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
